Claudia Lucacel brings over 15 years of diverse experience in the cultural sector, having worked on a broad spectrum of projects in Greece, the USA, the UK, and Norway. Passionate about making art accessible to diverse audiences, she views art as a powerful tool for fostering social change, empowerment, and integration. Her work emphasizes cross-cultural collaboration within the theater, dance, and music fields.

Originally from Romania, Claudia was raised in Greece and lived in the US and UK before settling in Norway in 2014. She now resides on a small family farm in Gran. She holds degrees in theater and film studies from institutions in Greece and Norway, alongside international training in applied and physical theater. Her multilingual background enhances her ability to navigate and collaborate across cultures.

Throughout her career, Claudia has been involved in numerous artistic residencies, symposia, and workshops, both as a facilitator and coordinator. Claudia has witnessed the transformative power of theater in addressing social and political issues and has led numerous Forum Theater workshops and projects aimed at integrating marginalized groups into society and fostering personal development.
As a filmmaker and photographer, Claudia focuses on documentary, experimental, and advertising projects within the cultural sector. She applies her skills to capture stories and narratives that emphasize human experience and artistic expression.

Recently, Claudia founded Anima Kultur Arena, a non-profit organization dedicated to the development, production, and dissemination of interdisciplinary artistic projects at national and international levels. With support from the Norwegian Arts Council, Anima Kultur Arena aims to establish a cultural hub and artist residency on her farm in Gran, outside Oslo.

She also co-founded Ensemble Kaleidoskop alongside composers Bjørk-Guinevere Eide and Panah, producing interdisciplinary productions for children aged 0–6. Their aim is to tour nationally and internationally, sharing the magic of theater with young audiences.

In addition to her artistic work, Claudia has extensive experience in project and production management, fundraising, and cultural leadership. She has worked with renowned cultural organizations, including Aquila Theatre Company (NY) during their US tour in 2012–2013, Grusomhetens Teater (NO) from 2017 to 2022, and the music organisation VoxLAB.
